about 25% of what he weighs. which is great, meaning 10-20 lbs you dont have to carry… or His water, soft bowl ect..

You should get the dog used to the back pack first then gradually add weight to it. I started out with one full water bottle on each side then added as my dogs got used to the weight. It’s also a great way to carry water for your dog along the walk!
Start out with nothing then add weight until you know exactly how much is just right for you dog. Too much can cause back issues later on down the road.
