I plan to run for part of my commute (from train station to office), and am looking for a bag (backpack or anything else) that I can use to hold clothes and some work papers. I know wearing a bag while running can mess with my posture and become annoying by bobbing up and down, so I'm hoping to find something compact that I can strap onto myself at multiple places to keep it steady. Thanks!
What Kind Of Backpack Can I Wear While Running Without Having It Bob Up And Down?

Learn a few survival skills. Basic survival skills make hiking and backpacking safer as well as more interesting. Just remembering that sleeping under a pile of dry grass or leaves can keep you warm could save your life someday. Knowledge of a few wild edible plants can feed you when you lose your food, and make a trip more interesting in any case.
People new to the wilderness, but also experienced outdoors men have paid the ultimate price when they forgot or refused to take a few basic precautions. It helps to read hiking and backpacking tips like these, but apply them too.
A lighter pack, bag and shelter is just a beginning, though. The most important thing you can do to lighten the load is to follow rule number one.I was reading some good information on the outdoors at this site not sure if it has what your looking for.
I run to/from the train station too. At the moment I’m reduced to using a very small (child’s) backpack by US Water Polo Assoc. Occassionally you can find a real running backpack. These will be around 10 litres small, very narrow, and will have a waist strap and sternum strap (across the chest) to control bouncing. It will cost at least $70. I’m lucky; I don’t have a bouncy form so just the shoulder straps on my cheap $10 pack are ok.
