With 65 backpacks neatly stacked on an assembly line of tables, Rotary Club members filed into line to choose from an array of spanking-new school supplies. With a designated student in mind, each member chose everything from glue sticks to colored pencils, but always with a sharp eye so no pink notebooks slipped into a teenage boy’s backpack.
