i am going on my first plane ride this Friday! And i am sooo excited not scared any more not one bit! But i am concerned of the airline losing my bags and luggage! I will be gone out of the country for a week and two days what would i do with no cloths?! So i wanted to know if that is very likely or not. Maybe how often that happens, just some reinsurance about the hole thing!

December 15th, 2009 Luggage Boy I’m flying from Glasgow, Scotland to San Francisco via London Heathrow.
My flight from Glasgow to London is with BMI, then I catch a flight from Heathrow to SFO.
What are the chances of my luggage being lost?
Also, on my luggage tags should I write my home address or the address that I will be staying at for the duration of my holidays???

September 6th, 2009 Luggage Boy I’m getting paranoid, because I have a very girly, expensive looking luggage and I’m afraid it’ll be a target to a thief. I’m going to California from Alaska and I have one stop at Seattle.
I will be using TSA approved luggage locks.
Have you ever lost your luggage or got anything stolen from it?
What can I do to prevent this or protect myself in case my luggage gets lost/stolen?

August 25th, 2009 Luggage Boy I’m flying internationally to Paris in June, connecting via London Heathrow. I’ve heard all about the luggage fiasco there and sadly, I have to move from T4 to T5 to catch my connecting flight to Paris. Would the situation be better by June? What are the chances of my luggage getting lost and how long would it take to recover lost luggage? It’s my 1st time flying long-haul on my own. Thanks!
