I have found a bag that fits within the standard cabin luggage dimensions, but i know if i fill it, it will exceed the weight for economy passengers which is generally around 7kgs. I am interested to know from people who travel regularly if they have ever had an airline actually check the size or weight of the carry on cabin luggage bag.

In 2008, I’m going on a flight to Europe, which will consist of flying into Paris… traveling for a while, then flying out from Milan.
I was just wondering because I’m going to be with a large tour group if instead of having to buy alcohol there if i could just check it in my luggage and fly it over with me.
Is checking alcohol in your luggage illegal?

August 27th, 2009 Luggage Boy I am leaving from San Diego at 3:30PM but check out of my hotel by 11AM.
Since I don’t have a car, I was thinking about dropping my luggage off at the airport at 8AM and then going sightseeing till 2PM.
Will the airport accept my luggage that early?
