As i may have to share a suitcase with another member of the family i don’t want to have to hide them in there so will need to put them in hand luggage. Will I have to get them out at customs etc? January 17th, 2010 Luggage Boy I am going on a long haul 13 hour flight from the UK on sunday and am thinking of taking a portable lcd dvd player with me with a number of dvd’s to keep me entertained. However as the flight is 13 hours I will need to take a good few sets of batteries to see me through. Does anyone know for sure if I can take batteries in my hand luggage?
