I travel several times a year and recently airlines (I use Easyjet) are insisting on only one piece of hand luggage – including handbags for women. Fine if this was a weight issue but once through security checks, you can buy as much as you like in duty free and therefore carry on lots of bags! Is this another way for the airlines to make money, ie £15 to check in additional bags on the day of departure?
