My daughter has been diagnosed with head lice & I need to treat her backpack (I’ve already done the rest of the work to the house, toys, coats, bed, her head etc). The school nurse said to throw it in the dryer on high heat for at least 20 min. I just don’t want to ruin the backpack. Should it be okay?

Can I Put Food In The Checked Luggage On Domestic Flight In The Us?
September 5th, 2009 Luggage Boy I’ll be flying northwest airlines, they didn’t say food was prohibited in the checked luggage, and I heard you can bring food no problem since its domestic flight. I’m planning to bring some cooked food in closed containers in the luggage that I will check, no liquids or anything. wondering if anyone else had any experience with this?
