This depends what type of leather it is. If the ink has soaked into the leather then there is nothing that will bring it out and using hairspray etc will only make matters worse.
Handbags should always be treated with leather protector so that if this kind of thing happens it will be much easier to rectify.
Try a good foam leather cleaner and an ink stick if it is on a finished leather (do not use an ink stick on an unfinished leather). If these do not work then it will be a job for a leather technician who may be able to remove it or disguise it.

Luggage Boy I was taking care of a cat for a friend in my home. My cat wasn’t friendly and so the other cat went in to hiding for 24 hours. Since the cat was so frightened he urinated in a few different spots around the room he was in. I think some is on the carpet, and I know some is on my luggage. What is the the most effective way to get rid of the odor?
