Wellesley resident Judy-Anne Hereu wants to do more than write a check for the smallest earthquake victims. She is trying to organize a mission, called To Have and To Hold in Haiti, that will send backpacks full of toys, non-perishable snacks and a toothbrush from Wellesley children to children in Haiti.

Luggage Boy Clowns, magic and backpacks filled with toys made Christmas even more special for about 1,000 children Saturday at Manual High School as the Journal Star and The Salvation Army teamed for the annual Peoria County Red Stocking Party. Can I Put A 100% Polyester Backpack In The Dryer On High Heat?

Luggage Boy My daughter has been diagnosed with head lice & I need to treat her backpack (I’ve already done the rest of the work to the house, toys, coats, bed, her head etc). The school nurse said to throw it in the dryer on high heat for at least 20 min. I just don’t want to ruin the backpack. Should it be okay?
